Compensation: $52,000 - $65,000 / year

What's in Store

We are on the lookout for a Client Accounting Coordinator who will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions for DCS clients in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily funding, payment transactions and daily account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial related information for clients such as monthly financial statements and other reports as needed or requested by clients
  • Assist Accounting Supervisor as needed with preparation of Corporate financial statements.
  • Work with client’s financial auditors
  • Present financial statements at client board meetings
  • Data entry of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable transactions, including, but not limited to, invoices, cash receipts, or vouchers
  • Review work prepared by Accounting Coordinators
  • Train and mentor Accounting Coordinators
  • Manage Access and Excel databases and analyze data
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time position located in Nashville, TN.

Skills, knowledge & expertise

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in accounting and supervision.
  • Preferred; college degree in accounting and/or CPA.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent customer service and supervisory skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good computer skills - advanced in Excel, Word and other software programs as needed. May require taking outside classes if necessary.
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential information
