Clean Harbors in Calgary, AB is seeking an Account Manager for join ourTechnical Services team! The Account Manageris responsible for cultivating and advancing relationships with a variety of customers to win new profitable revenue. Performing high touchpoints with customers and prospects to increase awareness of Clean Harbors Technical Services Capabilities.

  • Use consultative, insight‑driven selling to educate customers on waste‑management challenges and position Clean Harbors solutions. Cultivate and advance relationships with existing and new customers to win profitable business.
  • High touchpoints with customers and prospects to increase wallet share.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth across multi‑site waste‑management accounts.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable environmental services contracts with senior operations and EHS leaders.
  • Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives, highly focused on Clean Harbors Technical Services capabilities.
  • Analyze waste streams, regulatory needs, and account profitability to ensure proper service, pricing, and margin growth.
  • Track activities, opportunities, and accounts through CH tools, utilizing insights to craft strategies and cross sell opportunities.
  • Ability to Travel within Alberta to meet clients.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 3 Years of related B2B sales/ Account Management / Business Development experience.
  • Waste management/chemical industry experience highly preferred.
  • Resides within territory defined, holds a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
  • Post Secondary in Environmental Science, chemistry or related preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships (environmental service, operations, and compliance stakeholders/close profitable waste‑management contracts highly preferred)
  • Skilled in strategic selling, analysis, and project planning/management
  • Exceptional business acumen, value selling and negotiation skills.
  • Salesforce Software experience highly preferred.
