Clerk Supervisor
Location: 14250 49th Street N. Clearwater, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a, to 5 pm, with occasional 11am to 7pm on a rotational basis
The Clerk of the Circuit Court as an elected Constitutional Officer responsible for safeguarding public records and funds, is seeking a service minded Court Records Supervisor.
The Clerk Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees assigned in the Pinellas County Justice Center. An employee in this class plans, assigns, monitors, and reviews the work of a moderate to large staff of subordinate lead worker(s) and clerical employees. Employees in this class are held responsible for the proper performance of the assigned supervisory or technical activities of the department in accordance with the Florida Statutes, Rules of Court and regulations. Independent work decisions are made based on experience and knowledge of departmental operations as well as laws, rules and regulations governing Clerk of the Circuit Court Comptroller and Board of county Commissioners.

What Do You Need To Have?
Experience: Legal or Clerk of the Circuit Court related work, court records traffic, governmental accounting or as a teller or a cashier depending on area of assignment; 1 year of which should include supervisory or leadership experience in the Clerk's Office.
Education: Business or Public Administration, Accounting or a related field.
Assignment to work a variety of work schedules including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to maintain public relations in an effective, tactful and courteous manner.
