As a Clerk Supervisor, you will direct the activities of the deeds processing team regarding transferring titles and updating ownership of real property. You will also ensure the timely and accurate processing of recorded information by guiding and directing your team with ongoing operational needs and responding to ad hoc situations. You will work closely with several other divisions and work groups within the organization in efforts to provide excellent services to Maricopa County residents.

We Require
Five years of experience in an appraisal or property-related environment, such as real estate, construction, property inspection, titling, mortgage, or government environment
High School diploma or GED
Post-secondary education may substitute for the minimum requirements on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Supervisory or lead experience
Experience working in an Assessor’s Office
Experience with spreadsheets and other computer software programs
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and directing resources as needed

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of deeds by creating an effective workflow, ensuring the appropriate staffing levels, and communicating the productivity levels or delays with other members of leadership
Create a motivated, increasingly capable team by fostering a positive culture. Become familiar with team dynamics, their skills, knowledge, and abilities, and mentor and lead the team to be conducive to and intuitive for their workflows. Ensure the appropriate training of their tasks and cross-training that will contribute to succession planning and an agile work environment
Contribute to the organization's changes that demonstrate effective and positive changes by collaborating with the team, communicating, and following through on process improvements, documenting workflows and process changes, and engaging other divisions to ensure processes are in sync with the rest of the organization
Ensure customer focus and quality assurance by collaborating with other divisions, attending staff meetings, and participating in process improvement discussions
Create an effective and productive environment by establishing specific measures for the team and providing regular feedback related to performance, by acknowledging and celebrating team efforts with recognition events
Produce a cadence of accountability by holding regular team meetings and discussing work productivity
Ensure quality assurance of the work by frequently engaging the team and regularly reviewing the work
