POSITION SUMMARY

Borden Dairy is seeking an analytical, and data driven Production Clerk to track raw milk receiving and plant balancing. This position also coordinates plant purchasing and accounts payable reconciliation. Enters and tracks inter-company orders and assists the month end inventory process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enters milk haulers information and prints truck scale audit report.
  • Collects processing, filling and cream shipment sheets and enters information into computer.
  • Reviews bill of ladings, receiving logs and matches to purchase orders.
  • Maintains machine efficiency reports.
  • Investigates pricing discrepancies with accounts payable.
  • Records cooler and production dump.
  • Enters purchase requisitions into computer system.
  • Enters butterfat information into QC butterfat spreadsheet.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including an extensive working knowledge of Excel (creating formulas, formatting spreadsheets, and data analysis).
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years accounting, bank teller or manufacturing clerical experience required.
  • Strong math skills and proficiency at using a 10-key calculator.
  • Proven track record of regular attendance.
