Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $19.95 - $22.56 Hourly

Experienced part-time Office Clerk needed at ACES Whitney Academy, Hamden, CT.
The position requires experience with general clerical duties and effective communication skills. This individual must be courteous, dependable, punctual, organized, demonstrate the ability to multi-task and represent ACES and our school community in a professional and responsive manner.

QualificationsResponsibilities and Clerical Duties
- Navigate a multi-line telephone system
- Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate staff, and ensure clear messaging
- Complete office tasks such as; filing, copying, faxing, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
Knowledge of
- Computer and software programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Outlook and PowerSchool experience helpful
Ability to
- Comfortably communicate and interact with special needs students
- Confidently ensure school safety/security by following protocol in place
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Function as part of a team, collaborate with others
- Complete assignments in a timely manner; prioritize tasks, organize work and problem solve
- Handle and adapt well to changes in a fast paced work environment

Additional Information
- Part-time position, 20 hours per week
- Monday-Friday afternoon, flexible hours
