Job Description

Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 536408) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or other related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ work experience, preferably in tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skill; and strong computer literacy. Knowledge of creative design and digital media communications is a plus. They should also be a good team player; attentive to details; hardworking; self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics; and able to multi-tasks and work independently. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerk II.

The appointees will assist in organising the Schools’ events/activities, administering database management, liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing write-ups and other marketing and promotion materials, overseeing production projects, providing clerical support to the Knowledge Exchange & External Relation team of the School, and performing other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours or on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
