1. Assist Gate Supervisor in maintaining a smooth traffic flow at the gate by assisting the truckers / hauliers with gate processes and look after the lanes and the gate equipment.
2. Ensure that the truck and container turnaround time in effective manner.
3. Ensure accuracy of updated data and ensure that no containers enter the terminal without proper Appointment and Truck Visit Appointment (TVA).
4. Follow PTP gate procedures.
5. Report to supervisor in case of any doubtful situation or problem.
6. Assist the gate supervisor in managing the gate terminal and ensure constant attention on traffic flow.
7. Perform physical inspection on containers number, condition, seal intact, placards or sticker affixed, reefer settings, DG container and etc.
8. Constantly liaise with the Gate Security personnel on matter concerning safety.
9. Other functions as directed by his Manager and Executive.
10. Always ready to be allocated at any location considered necessary in Gate and ITT Department to assist and support the operation. JD is referred and compiled if more of one assignment given.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Physically and medically fit, with normal colour vision and good eyesight.
2. Possess at least the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM).
3. Hold a current and valid driving license to operate a light vehicle (minimum Class D).
4. Aged between 25 and 35 years old.
5. Possess basic computer skills.
6. Candidates with prior shift-working experience will be given preference.
7. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
8. Strong learning capability.
9. Able to work shift hours, including Public Holidays.
