Job Location: Pupil Services - North Haven, CT 06473
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $19.95 - $22.56 Hourly

Job Brief: ACES is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Office Clerk to support daily operations within the World Language Department. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. This position may require the clerk to work in-person and remotely, additional hours (subject to approval by direct supervisor) in order to meet the needs of the requests.
Duties and Responsibilities
Answer phones, direct calls, and ensure accurate message delivery.
Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Complete general clerical tasks such as scheduling, emailing, filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Proficient with the utilization of MUNIS for billing and purchase orders.
Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and confirming requests along with cancellations and completion of each assignment.
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information involving students, staffs, and school districts/clients.
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Workspace, and platforms (e.g., Interfaces).
Basic office and clerical procedures, including MUNIS
Purchase order and invoices
Build and maintain positive working relationships across departments, school districts and other clients
Physical Demands:
This position involves a combination of sedentary work and movement around the building. Occasional bending and lifting (e.g., files, paper supplies) is required. The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior office or clerical experience preferred.
Prior educational setting experience preferred.
Comfort with technology platforms and willingness to learn internal systems.
