Job Summary
The employee will be trained to help direct guests on where to park during special events taking place at the University of Utah and expected to work in ranging temperatures, frequent standing, sitting, walking, and some lifting (30 lbs) while delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities
Attendants are responsible for collecting parking fees, guest service, and maintenance of the event parking areas. Duties include, but are not limited to: Responsible for collecting parking fees from customers with accuracy and a smile. Prepare and complete accurate records and reports. Assist customers in a courteous manner, and answering general questions with a positive attitude. Perform various traffic control responsibilities. Responds to citizen and guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely, courteous and helpful manner to exceed expectations. Monitors all radio traffic; communicating with appropriate coworkers and management when necessary. Audit cars in a parking lot and monitor parking facilities for space availability and safety concerns. Change signage at parking locations and communicate as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
One year customer service or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills; and basic computer skills required.
