This position enters new judgments, tax liens into the Prothonotary Case Management System.
Processes satisfaction documents and updates final case dispositions.
Works with electronic filing in File & Serve, receipts filing fees, scans all documents into the Prothonotary Case Management System. And provides customer service
via phone and at the counter.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to a Deputy Prothonotary .

Will assist in other areas in the office as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Office experience that included data entry
Any combination of equivalent education, training and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Competency in the basic operation of office equipment; computer, fax, copier, etc.
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to type / keyboard at least 40 wpm accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with the public in person and on the phone.
Work cooperatively with co-workers
Ability to analyze situations accurately and pursue an effective course of action.
Ability to review documents, locate and analyze data, enter appropriate information accurately into the computer.
Ability to review correspondence and pleadings, analyze depositions, perform simple math calculations, process requests and documents

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMEN T
Ability to transport dockets and indices weighing up to 25 lbs. to various locations in the courthouse.
Retrieve and accurately re-file documents in file on shelves ranging from 1 foot to 6 feet in height.
Ability to handle stressful situations tactfully and effectively.
