As the Clerical Associate on SMCC, you are the communication and organization hub for a fast‑paced 41‑bed surgical/medical unit. You support nurses, providers, patients, and families while helping the unit run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate activity at the nurse’s station
• Support nurses, providers, patients, and visitors
• Manage phones, call lights, communication, and paging
• Maintain forms, supplies, and patient education materials
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and EMR tasks
• Help keep the unit safe, organized, and running smoothly

Requirements

• BLS within six months
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Successfully complete Epic training (provided)
