Clerical Assistant - Intercultural Student Initiatives (FWS Only), SF1CLASSTCSDEI (FA26)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist the department in its activities and responsibilities of promoting cultural awareness, social understanding, in unity and belonging at College of DuPage. Includes supporting the recruitment and retention of Black/African American students.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
  • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
  • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

• Experience
  • Good listening skills required.
  • Positive and caring attitude required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Light typing required.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at a time required.
  • Preference will be given to those who can work more than 2 terms preferred.

  • Compliance Training

Working Conditions:

Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
