Description: Attendance Clerical Assistant - Holman Middle School

Job Summary:

This is a 9.5 month (205 day) position, 8 hours per day

Salary:

  • $15.90 - $24.29/hr
  • Salary classification 175
  • Salary is determined based on years of experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work with building employees and members of the school community in a diplomatic, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Ability to edit routine correspondence for spelling and grammatical errors
  • Experience with Apple operating systems
  • Ability to effectively use: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
  • Ability to effectively implement multiple projects and job responsibilities including, but not limited to bookkeeping, invoice issues & check processing
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the call, and provide information directly or refer calls to proper person or office
  • Must be familiar with school/district and general office practices/procedures.
  • Knowledge of standard office machines, equipment, and computers
  • Ability to organize, maintain files, and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • School-wide upkeep of attendance records and generating attendance data reporting as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma supplemented by one-year of clerical experience and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
