This position supports daily office functions that help staff and customers receive timely service. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and reliability.

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Phone Support: Manage incoming calls, direct callers, and provide clear information
• Mail Operations: Sort incoming mail, process outgoing mail, and maintain mailing supplies
• Customer Service: Greet visitors, maintain lobby records, and assist with general inquiries
• Administrative Tasks: Prepare documents, manage records, and support staff with office needs
• Travel Assistance: Help employees with travel vouchers, expense questions, and SAP Concur support

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
• Work Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831.00 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Graduation from high school; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
