POSITION SUMMARY:

Omniplex, a Constellis company, is looking to hire a Site Supervisor. In this role, you will lead and manage the shift security operations of a team of armed cleared security officers at a sensitive site. The hours for this position will be determined by contract needs pending staffing and other management needs.

COMPENSATION:

$49.15 + $5.79 H&W

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of armed Cleared Security Officers in their day-to-day operations and assist with new hire training as needed.
  • Perform inspections of posts throughout the month.
  • Conduct regular site visits and perform security patrols of the site via foot or vehicle.
  • Control access to the facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the site have proper identification.
  • Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents occurring day or night.
  • Execute appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response following company Use of Force Policy.
  • Handle scheduling, call-offs, fill open shifts during on-call weekends, and issue disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Enforce Post Orders, customer rules, and facility regulations.
  • Maintain proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems.
  • Assist management in maintaining/enhancing program performance over time and act as a resource to managers and employees.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with the customer and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by the captain and/or Program Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess an active/current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of armed experience / 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of successful supervisory/leadership experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combined experience).
  • Active DCJS Certification.
  • Firearms training and firearms qualifications meeting state/federal standards.
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
  • Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Desired:

  • 4+ years of experience as an armed security guard.
  • 2+ years of experience as a supervisor/manager of 10+ people with a demonstrated ability to mentor and coach employees.
  • 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, Department of Corrections, or the US Military.
  • Experience working at a sensitive or secure site.
