Program: CECOM Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Electronic Warfare
Location: On-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
US Gov. Security Clearance: A DoD Secret or higher
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Electronic Warfare mission. The Senior Systems Engineer will perform full-lifecycle systems engineering — turning warfighter- and threat-driven requirements into tested, fielded total-system solutions for Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and EW reprogramming. Working in a classified lab and RF test environment, the engineer plans, integrates, verifies, and validates the updates that keep Army warning and countermeasure systems effective against evolving threats, collaborating closely with requirements specialists, software engineers, and RF/test personnel.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning across the system lifecycle — requirements analysis, functional/physical architecture, integration, and verification & validation (V&V).
• Translate operational and threat-driven requirements into hardware/software specifications through functional, timeline, and trade analyses.
• Conduct trade studies evaluating alternatives for cost, performance, risk, schedule, and supportability.
• Define and document interfaces; allocate and trace requirements for EW system and mission-data updates (e.g., requirements traceability matrices, ICDs).
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports; support hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and RF test events; analyze results and drive corrective action.
• Integrate and troubleshoot in the RF test environment; identify and resolve system anomalies.
• Produce engineering artifacts and review materials (e.g., SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR inputs, technical analyses, white papers).
• Support configuration management, risk management, and technical-baseline maintenance.
• Brief technical status and risk to program leadership and the Government customer.
Required Qualifications
• 5–7 years of systems engineering experience in a DoD environment (EW, C5ISR, ASE, or RF/test preferred).
• Active DOD Secret clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline (or 4+ additional years of equivalent professional work experience).
• Demonstrated experience translating requirements into specifications and performing V&V (Verification & Validation).
• Working knowledge of systems engineering processes — requirements management, trade studies, interface definition, and test & evaluation.
• U.S. citizenship (clearance requirement).
Preferred Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI (or current SCI eligibility).
• Experience with EW/ASE systems, threat signatures, mission-data reprogramming, RF test/HWIL, or SDR.
• Familiarity with Army aviation survivability equipment and reprogramming processes.
• INCOSE SE certification, DAWIA, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) experience.
• Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Cameo/MagicDraw, or equivalent.
• Prior CECOM / ARAT / IEWS program experience.
