CAGs – Cleared American Guards Team Lead (CAGs)

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position: Team leaders.
Pay Rate: $53 CAGs is seeking a Security Escort to support secure facilities by escorting uncleared individuals and monitoring activity within restricted areas. This position requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to operate in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort uncleared personnel and visitors within designated secure buildings and restricted areas
  • Monitor escorted individuals to ensure compliance with all security requirements
  • Follow all company safety, security, and personnel policies
  • Interact professionally with customers, employees, VIPs, and the general public
  • Perform additional job-related or administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to acquire and maintain access to the assigned facility

Candidate Expectations

This is a lead role and primary on-shift point of contact, responsible for setting daily priorities, maintaining accountability, and ensuring escorts are executed safely and professionally, in full compliance with all site security requirements.

  • Leads and coordinates day-to-day escort operations, staffing coverage, and tasking to meet mission needs
  • Provides coaching and real-time guidance to ensure consistent standards, professionalism, and customer service
  • Maintains situational awareness and escalates concerns promptly; supports de-escalation and incident response as needed
  • Ensures accurate documentation, turnover notes, and timely communication with site stakeholders
  • Models’ integrity and confidentiality while enforcing access control, badge discipline, and restricted-area rules

Physical & Cognitive Abilities

  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens and outdoor environments
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity for keyboard and equipment use
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply written and spoken instructions
