Salary Range: $12.00 - $12.00 Hourly

Position 

Summary
​The Sales Associate – Clearance Center assists the Clearance Center Management team in the overall operations of the store to maximize production, sales, salvage, and customer service.​
Responsibilities
- ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Ensures that quality customer service is presented and provided in a timely and courteous manner to all customers and other team members.  
- ​​Maximizes sales performance through proper presentation of merchandise.   
- ​​Handles all customer service needs.  
- ​​Communicates all needs and issues to management.  
- ​​Handled keeping the front registers stocked with supplies, store bags, register receipt paper etc.  
- ​​Adheres to proper cash handling policies and procedures.  
- ​​Helps on sales floor as needed if at least one register is staffed during all opening hours.  
- ​​Maintains responsibility for store deposits, cash reports, accountable for shortages.  
- ​​Maintains a safe work environment and ensures sales floor is free of obstacles and hazards.  
- ​​​Follows Provided Price List provided by Store Manager - Clearance Center.  
- ​​Provides excellent and equitable access and service to all customers.  
- ​​Performs calculations in case of system emergency.  
- ​Assists in any other projects or tasks as determined by management.  ​

Environmental Factors
- ​​​​​​​Duties will be conducted at the Clearance Center, Central Warehouse, or other assigned Goodwill locations where no cooling or heating will be available. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, animal hair and sometimes humidity.​​​​​​
Physical Factors
- ​​Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

QualificationsEducation, Experience, and Requirements
Required
- ​​​​​​​​​​​High School Diploma or equivalent completion  
- ​​Proven reliability and meeting attendance expectations
- ​​​Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.  
- ​​​Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.  
- ​​​Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility.  ​
Preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

- ​Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling when dealing with repairs.​
