Cleanroom Technician

The Role:Cleanroom Technician

We are seeking a CleanroomTechnician to join our team inKTC, Korea. In thisrole you will perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. You will alsoprocess test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to the engineering team toidentifyyield problems or test new products.

In this role you will:

• Owns experiment preparation activities, including wafer preparation (measurements - thickness and defects), log sheet preparation, recipe preparation

• Handles set-up and operation of polishers (Ebara& AP300) cleaners and wafer metrology tools

• Conducts polishing experiments using blanket and patterned wafers

• Performs process and equipment troubleshooting activities during experiments, including identification of sources of polish variation

• Guides and provides recommendations to polish experiment feasibility and design based on hands-on experience

• Activelyparticipatein planning and execution of internal Cleanroom and product line based continuous improvement activities

• Acts as a resource and collaborator with Engineers and Scientists

• Shares in responsibility for the safety of shift-coworkers

• Safety management by company policy

• Slurry sample preparation for CMP experiments with raw materials

• Sample scheduling and inventory management

• Cross functional team communication

• Shipping/receiving raw materials and slurries

• MSDS compliance

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

Education & Experience

• Associate degree inan Engineeringfieldrequired Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field is preferred

• Proven knowledge and experience in CMP preferred

• Experience working on engineering projects, or equivalent,required

• Defectivitymetrology experience a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability tooperatein a highly independent manner, tolerance of ambiguity, strong skills in planning and organization, attention to detail, strongteamworkand communication skills.

• Microsoft Office applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)required

• Statistical analysis software skills a plus (JMP, Minitab, SAS)
