Job Description

Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.

Major Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Inspecting trailers, tracks, and the intermodal yard.

• Clean/Sweep out trailers.

• 2 hour temp checks of live loaded trailers/equipment.

• This position will be responsible for the Sweeping of trailers and assisting with other yard cleaning duties as required.

• Inputting information into computers and preparing reports, research, review, and record trailer inventory.

• This position is primarily working on the dock as well as in the yard.

• May require outdoor work in all weather conditions.

• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Administrative duties (paperwork, etc.)

• Any other tasks or duties as assigned.

• Involve Safety team as required by location.

• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred)
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
