Job Description

Kalundborg, office based.

Cleaning Supporter position at the most exciting production facility at Novo Nordisk A/S.
Do you have an interest in production systems and how they operate? Are you experienced with pharmaceutical production and cleaning processes and does working in a highly international environment motivate you?
We are currently looking for a Process/Cleaning Process Supporter with a can-do attitude to join our production support team in the Purification Department at Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg.
The department
You will be working in the Purification Department, where several products for diabetes patients are produced. We are an independent department having the responsibility for the entire Purification process, including cleaning validation and monitoring. We are approximately 220 employees working in close collaboration to manage this responsibility and deliver life-saving medicines daily.
The department is part of Manufacturing I (M1), where the purification teams collaborate across multiple production facilities. You will therefore have a large network both to support and develop your personal and professional skills further.
The job
In this position you will, together with the rest of the team, have the responsibility for cleaning validation and monitoring of the equipment in the department. Supporting the cleaning processes on a day-to-day basis and ensuring smooth operation is key to success for this team. This also means optimising current monitoring processes within regulatory requirements, and handle problem solving in a systematic manner to eliminate problems completely. Depending on your experience, you will also be involved in product change over, optimisation projects and with time help cleaning colleagues across production facilities. There is a strong focus on LEAN-systems, which together with our quality mindset, drives continuous improvements across the department. Everything we do is regulated by GMP, and as such you must be aware of the challenges this creates.
Key responsibilities would include:
  • Data monitoring and analysis, deviation handling and measurement
  • Taking necessary actions to ensure continuous compliance with the requirements from authority
  • Upgrading and validation of the cleaning processes
Qualifications:
  • You hold a degree within a relevant engineering field such as biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent
  • GMP - experience would be considered an advantage
  • You probably have some experience with cleaning process from a similar working environment
  • You are detail oriented and have a data analytical mindset
  • Experience in fermentation, recovery or purification from the studies would be a strong asset
  • You have natural ability to understand the chemical language and the process on the production
  • Fluent English; it would be a prerequisite if you can speak Danish or are willing to learn
On a personal level you enjoy being the go-to person within your field and a point of contact for your colleagues. You are systematic in the way you work and prefer face-to-face dialogue to emails. You can manage to stay positive in an environment, where priorities can change quickly. Interest in new technologies is an advantage, as we are moving towards industry 4.0.
