As a Cleaning Maintenance Operative, you will work as part of a team to maintain our premises on both a reactive and planned basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities by carrying out a wide range of cleaning and upkeep tasks across our premises.

This is a hands-on role where you will be ensuring our outdoor environment is always at its best for colleagues and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning, Janitor, or facilities role would be advantageous
  • Experience with specialised access equipment such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers, or telehandlers is preferred.
  • Proactive and reliable approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is preferred.

Additional Information

  • Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-presented, and supporting the Facilities team with ad-hoc tasks to maintain these high standards.
  • Chaperoning visitors, acting as a point of contact, guiding them, and ensuring they have a positive and professional experience.
  • Managing and disposing of all waste efficiently, adhering to recycling policies and ensuring a tidy and hygienic environment.
  • Maintaining and improving a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities, ensuring a safe, professional and visually appealing environment.
