Bupa Merrimac is a charming care home in the heart of the Gold Coast. It is close to the local community with schools and shopping centres nearby. 10kms from the CBD, it consists of 98 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. About the Role

Use your fantastic cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference. Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

Duties

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and catering

Skills and Experience

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
