Cleaning Aide I
This regular, full-time position performs a variety of tasks that support the operations of the Housekeeping Department. The hours are currently 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain school, offices, apartments, classrooms, and dorms in clean and orderly condition.
- Deep cleans bathrooms
- Vacuums carpets, dry and wet mops floors
- Cleans glass surfaces, sweeps and cleans stairs
- Moves furniture
- Sets up and breaks down furniture for social functions
- Performs other cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs, to bend, stoop, and kneel while working
- Ability to move furniture
- Customer service skill and orientation
