JOB SUMMARY:

The Cleaner/Attendant is
responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout
the store. The position typically operates on a shift basis and includes
cleaning and sanitizing shelves, offices, lunchrooms, and restroom facilities
within the building.

In addition to
cleaning duties, the Office Attendant will support store operations by
assisting with sales activities and filling in for absent staff members when
required.

ESSENTIAL DUITIES
AND DEPARTMENTS:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building by performing
various duties. Duties and hours may vary dependent upon the area being cleaned
and the number of teammates they may be working with.
· Cleans and disinfects restrooms.
· Replenishes cleaning supplies and
monitors stocks for the bathroom such as toilet paper, paper towel, hand soap
etc.
· Dusts furniture, equipment, etc.
· Empties wastebaskets and transports to
disposal area.
· Cleans walls and woodwork.
· Employee must comply with proper safety
policies and procedures as required (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals etc.).
· Must be able to determine the neatness,
accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
· Duties includes bending forward, walking
and standing, climbing, kneeling down, reaching and grasping, push and pull
objects, lift and/or move up to 25lbs,
· Any other duties that they may be called
upon.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  High School
  Equivalent Education
• 
  Previous
  working experience in related area.
• 
  CXC subjects
