Priory Cleveland House is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a full time or part time role.
We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.
We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.
Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, in the west of Lancashire. It offers residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC) and associated physical health needs. We are located on a residential housing estate.
Our team are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our residents in a safe and homely environment. From personal care, rehabilitation to social activities, we aim to provide a range of services that promote physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
