Priory Hospital Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Cleanerto join our team across all wards.

You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
