Priory Hospital Cheadle is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week
We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.
Working Pattern: Part-time, 20 hours per week, working Monday and Wednesday, 7:30am – 3:00pm, and Tuesday, 7:30am – 1:30pm
Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal, Stockport is an inpatient mental health service for young people and adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes along Wilmslow Road and Cheadle Hulme and East Didsbury railway stations approximately 1–2 miles from the service.

You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. As part of the role, you will:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Follow cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Support colleagues where required

What you'll bring to the role

- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
