Mine Site Cleaner / Leading Hand

Greenbushes Talison Lithium Operation

Talison Lithium is currently seeking experienced and motivated Mine Site Cleaners, including candidates with Leading Hand experience, to join our Site Services team at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation.

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards, work safely, and contribute positively to team culture. The Leading Hand component of the role includes supporting the coordination and day-to-day performance of the cleaning team across site facilities.

Day Shift and Afternoon Shift opportunities are available for suitable candidates.

About the Role

As part of the Site Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across operational and accommodation facilities while adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Duties Include:

• maintaining high standards of cleanliness across designated work areas;
• carrying out manual cleaning tasks using safe manual handling techniques;
• ensuring work areas remain safe and free from hazards or obstructions;
• using cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with SDS and manufacturer specifications;
• monitoring and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment;
• reporting any maintenance issues or deficiencies to the Coordinator; and
• assisting in other operational areas as required.

Leading Hand Responsibilities:

In addition to cleaning duties, the Leading Hand will:

• coordinate daily cleaning operations across site;
• allocate tasks and monitor team performance;
• provide training, mentoring, and support to team members;
• ensure compliance with safety procedures and site standards;
• act as the key contact for daily operational matters; and
• assist with rostering and workforce coverage planning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• previous experience in a professional cleaning role;
• Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred;
• strong understanding of safe work practices;
• knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures;
• ability to work independently and within a team environment;
• positive attitude and willingness to support team success;
• flexibility to assist in multiple areas when required;
• current Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory) and
• ability to reside or relocate within 30 minutes of the Greenbushes operation.
