  • Salary: £24,796 per annum pro rata
  • Hours: 15 hours per week, 42 weeks per year
  • Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible

We are seeking a Cleaner to ensure that Bealings School is maintained in a clean, safe, secure, and welcoming condition for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • carrying out daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
  • sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors as appropriate
  • emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
  • cleaning surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard
  • replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
  • reporting any cleaning supply shortages
  • undertaking deep cleans throughout the year.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials
