Job Location: Lee Wetherington Club - Sarasota, FL 34237
Position Type: Part TimePrimary Function: Under the direct supervision of the Club Director, the cleaner has the responsibility of maintaining and adhering to risk management and maintenance for COVID-19 cleanliness.
Position Responsibilities and Requirements (include, but are not limited to):
- Follow cleaning schedule as provided by supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate safety procedures including safe usage of cleaning equipment operations and proper maintenance, appropriate use and maintenance of facilities cleaning materials and supplies.
- Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment is created and maintained.
- Valid State Driver’s License is required.
- Belief in the mission, principles, values and standards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.
- Experience is working with children and knowledge of youth development.
- Must pay attention to detail and have strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Maintain strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and flexibility.
- Must be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day to day activities.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year experience in cleaning/sanitizing preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 75lbs, climb ladders up to 8 feet and must be able to work above/over their head.
