Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Cleaner to join our team in Aviemore, United Kingdom. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant space for all who use our facilities.

Working patter: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 17:15-19:15 & Tuesdays 19:00-21:00

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the practice

  • Clean and disinfect examination rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff areas

  • Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to established protocols

  • Maintain and organise cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Adhere to infection control and hygiene standards specific to healthcare settings

  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Competencies:**

  • Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks and lift items as required
  • Reliability and punctuality in meeting shift commitments
  • Understanding of basic health and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and collaboratively

**Desirable Skills and Experience:**

  • Previous experience in professional cleaning or facilities maintenance
  • Familiarity with hygiene and sanitation standards in workplace environments
  • Knowledge of waste disposal and environmental best practices
  • Experience working in healthcare, hospitality, or corporate settings
  • Strong people skills and customer-focused approach
  • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to different cleaning environments
  • Basic understanding of infection control principles
