WHAT’S THE JOB?

As an office Cleaner, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs, and other building surfaces.
  • Clean windowsills, interior glass doors, partitions, and designated windows.
  • Wash entrance door glass and trim (interior/exterior) and spot-clean interior walls daily as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms; restock paper and soap supplies. Standard procedures include wiping glass surfaces, emptying waste bins, servicing dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, and partitions, and sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing floors.
  • Provide assistance to the supervisor with tasks requiring employee support.
  • Monitor and report maintenance issues (e.g., clogged fixtures, burnt-out lights) to the supervisor.
  • Collect building waste daily, dispose of it in approved containers, and move it to designated collection areas.
  • Replace liners in waste baskets and trash receptacles as specified.
  • Perform high dusting and wall washing as required.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Must have Drivers licence and vehicle
  • A great attitude!
  • Floor care experience an asset (able to scrub, buff and polish floors)
  • A minimum of 6 months' cleaning experience
  • Must be comfortable standing for a long period of time
  • Must be comfortable using cleaning products
  • Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
