Jhpiego is an international, non-profit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University. For 50 years and in over 155 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families.

Jhpiego leads the Reaching Impact Saturation and Epidemic Control (RISE) project; a multi-country project funded by the U.S. Government to save lives and improve health through integrated, evidence-based approaches to address urgent gaps in lifesaving services. RISE works across all levels of the health system to strengthen the HIV/TB epidemic response, to limit the spread of deadly disease outbreaks through Global Health Security (GHS) programming, and to reduce preventable morbidity and mortality through integrated maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), nutrition, tuberculosis (TB), and malaria services. RISE supports country governments to strengthen essential data systems, supply chain and commodity management, human resources for health, domestic resource mobilization, and other cross-cutting health system functions to accelerate transition to country ownership and self-reliance.

In Angola, RISE supports the Government of the Republic of Angola (GRA) in its efforts to end HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. This will be achieved by strengthening the public health system and making measurable progress toward targets across all ages and populations. The project supports the implementation of high-quality, life-saving community-based HIV service delivery, system strengthening, and transition towards sustainable integrated programming.

The project is seeking a Cleark and reception Assistant, in Luanda-Angola

of role

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of company environments, providing a pleasant, safe, and hygienic space for employees and visitors.

Receive and guide visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a cordial, efficient, and professional service, as well as supporting the administrative activities of the reception area.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitization of offices, rooms, corridors, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies when necessary.
• Ensure the conservation of equipment and materials used.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs identified in the facilities to the immediate supervisor.
• Comply with occupational safety, hygiene, and health standards and organize the kitchen.
• Assist in the organization and preparation of rooms for internal meetings and events.
• Receive and direct visitors, clients, and suppliers.
• Answer and direct telephone calls.
• Manage incoming mail, documents, and packages.
• Provide general information about the company and its services.
• Control visitor access to the facilities.
• Schedule meetings and organize the use of meeting rooms.
• Support administrative and document filing activities.
• Maintain an organized reception area and present a professional image of the company.

Required Qualifications

• Completed secondary education or equivalent.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and internet).Good verbal and written communication skills.Friendly, organized, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multitask
• Passion and desire to work with people at different levels and culture
