
POSITION TITLE: Classroom Technology Trainer

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours a week, 242-day calendar (12 months)
The Olathe Public Schools Department of Technology Advancement and Training is responsible for the identification of digital solutions and the coordination and development of training on digital applications and innovations that enable district employees to perform in a modern work environment where technology significantly enhances the end user’s experience and productivity.
The Classroom Technology Trainer is an essential member of the Technology Advancement and Training team. This individual utilizes their certified teaching experience to develop training materials and facilitate training sessions on the use of technologies that empower all district staff to work productively and efficiently within the various settings of a PreK-12 education environment.

This position requires the performance of Medium work. The position involves Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position is in a normal office setting with exposure to computers, with interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. The position includes significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent reaching, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity is required in carrying out the essential duties of this position. The position is performed in generally hazard free environment and a clean atmosphere.
