Hardwick Primary School are seeking ayear 3 Classroom Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team, covering maternity leave on a fixed-term basis.

This post would suit an Early Career Teacher seeking a nurturing environment in which to develop their skills, or an experienced teacher looking for a rewarding role in a school where staff wellbeing, professional development and high-quality teaching are prioritised.

Support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs):

ECTs will benefit from a structured induction programme, high-quality mentoring and reduced teaching commitments in line with statutory guidance. You will be fully supported by experienced colleagues and trust-wide expertise to develop confidence, refine your practice and thrive in your teaching career.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has high expectations for learning and behaviour, with a genuine belief in the potential of every child and a commitment to inclusive practice
  • is an engaging and reflective teacher who is open to new approaches
  • has experience of teaching Key Stage 1 (or relevant training and placement experience for ECTs)
  • works well as part of a team and builds positive, professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and the wider community
  • is committed to their own professional development
  • can innovate and, where appropriate, lead an area of the curriculum
  • is positive, approachable and brings a good sense of humour to school life.
