
The Science Lab Aide provides essential behind-the-scenes support to the Science Department. This role focuses on the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory materials and equipment to ensure a seamless instructional environment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who enjoys organizational tasks and is comfortable working independently with little to no student interaction. No advanced science background is required, though the candidate must be willing to ask clarifying questions to ensure accurate and safe lab setups.
Key Responsibilities:
Lab Setup & Cleanup: Prepare materials and equipment for experiments based on teacher instructions; efficiently clean, sanitize, and store items after use.
Inventory & Organization: Monitor supply levels, coordinate ordering, and maintain a highly organized prep room to ensure all materials are labeled and accessible.
Teacher Support: Work directly with staff to identify and fulfill logistical needs for upcoming lessons.
Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule to be coordinated directly with the Science Department.

Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.53/Hour) Not Highly Qualified
Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.51/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
