Business Management Associates (BMA) is seeking a Position Classification Specialist with broad based position description writing in a public sector environment utilizing the Factor Evaluation System; Demonstrates ability to conduct desk audit interviews with employees and management officials for the purpose of ascertaining the duties, responsibilities, skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the job requirements of the position being evaluated; Demonstrates ability to apply the appropriate U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) classification standards to the existing or proposed position description written in the Factor Evaluation System (FES) format; Knowledge of the FES format and the ability to reduce the results of the classification analysis to writing in a FES Evaluation Statement; Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and skill in making Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) determinations. Demonstrated knowledge and application of position management principles, practices, and methods.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Compensation: $95,000-$110,00
