We are looking for a Classification Data Analyst at our Call Center in Round Rock, TX. Work is performed in a hybrid setting at both home (primarily) and on-site, from 7AM to 4PM, M-F, located at:

810 Hester’s Crossing Suite 250 Round Rock, TX 78681

Performs advanced position classification analysis work for the client’s service center in single or multiple agencies. Reviews job descriptions, organizational charts, and related audit documents and makes comparisons with other jobs to determine the proper Classification Plan title and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) assignment. Maintains employee position and job data in the client’s Human Resources management system. Advises agency managers and client HR staff of classification and compensation policies and procedures and responds to job audit appeals. Completes or participates in projects and related assignments.

Functions:

· Conducts position classification and FLSA audits by reviewing position descriptions, organizational charts, and related documents and making comparisons with other jobs to determine the proper classification title and FLSA assignment in compliance with the client’s Classification Plan and Department of Labor regulations.

· Contacts managers to obtain additional or clarifying information to make classification and FLSA determinations.

· Documents job audit findings and FLSA determinations.

· Updates employee position and job data in the client’s Human Resources management system.

· Responds orally and in writing to inquiries and issues from outside agency managers and Human Resources staff and state and/or federal government classification office(s) on classification and compensation matters including job audit appeals.

· Completes or participates in classification/compensation projects or assignments including conducting analysis, coordinating the efforts of team members, preparing project documents, and producing reports and recommendations.

· Conducts inquiries and enters information into automated job classification system.

· Prepares documents using a variety of software for routine or special reports, projects, or correspondence.

Required Experience:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Experience/knowledge in conducting job classification/job analysis work is preferred.

· Experience in compensation work is a plus.

· Experience with writing/how to write job descriptions is a plus.

· Knowledge of job evaluation methods, data analysis, data entry and inquiry.

· Knowledge of laws and regulations related to human resources management including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

· 1-3 years of human resources preferred or related experience or an equivalent combination education and experience.

· Access Skills are preferred

· Knowledge of system (PeopleSoft) functionality

Pay Transparency Statement

Strada takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Strada does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $33,100.00/year (for full-time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $61,400.00/year (for full-time employees).

Salary Pay Range

Minimum - Maximum:

$33,040.00 - $61,360.00
