Job Description

Chacewater School is a friendly, vibrant and inclusive primary school at the heart of its community. We are proud of our caring ethos, our high expectations, and the strong relationships we build with children and families. As our school continues to grow and thrive, we are looking for an excellent Key Stage 2 class teacher to join our team for a period of maternity cover from June 2026 or September 2026 depending on the candidate.

About the role
We are seeking a teacher who can bring energy, creativity and commitment to our Key Stage 2 team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching and learning, fostering a positive classroom environment, and ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

· A skilled and reflective practitioner with strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
· Someone who builds positive relationships and communicates well with children, colleagues and families
· A teacher who is passionate about inclusive practice and helping every child succeed
