Pay and Schedule
Starting Pay: $35.00–$35.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start Time: Between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
Overtime opportunities available, with occasional Saturdays as needed
This is a hands-on driving role that combines vehicle operation with physical activity. The position involves operating manual transmission roll-off trucks and servicing customer locations while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class B CDL roll-off truck on assigned routes
Pick up and deliver containers to customer sites and disposal facilities
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Secure loads properly and follow all company and DOT safety standards
Use a tablet-based system to manage routes, logs, and required documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain safe driving practices at all times, including the use of onboard safety technology
Physical and Working Conditions
Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Frequent climbing in and out of the truck cab
Lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing 50 pounds or more
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and moving mechanical parts
Adherence to strict safety procedures at all times
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles (10, 13, or 18-speed)
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and job-related tasks
High school diploma or GED preferred
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
