Job Description

Under the direction on the Facilities Operations Manager, the Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe transport of our passengers. The driver is required to adhere to the collection and drop-off points for each trip and be mindful of all driver and traffic safety regulations.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Arrive at collection points prior to departure times
  • Adhere to passenger limits and scheduled routes
  • Avoid high-traffic and accident –prone routes
  • Ensure the shuttle is clean, fueled and well-maintained
  • Observe all traffic regulations and safety laws

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Hold Class B Commercial Bus Certification with a passenger endorsement
  • Maintain an amicable and optimistic disposition
  • Ability to work flexible hours and to substitute for other drivers if necessary

EDUCATION:

  • High School graduate or GED

EXPERIENCE:

  • Clean driving record
  • At least 1 year previous experience transporting groups of people
  • First Aid Training is preferred

$20.88 - $22.69 an hour
