RESPONSIBILITIES
The CLASS Analyst will work under the direction of the CLASS Project Director. This individual should demonstrate strong communication skills, work efficiently with attention to detail while meeting deadlines under pressure. This individual should be a self-starter, a problem-solver, adaptable, and work collaboratively with CLASS grant team. Most importantly, this individual should be out-going and share joy in speaking or interacting with people through-out their workday.
- In collaboration with the CLASS Project Coordinator, who completes the observation scheduling, the individual will lead communication between the observation sites and management.
- Provide expert guidance to observers visiting schools, Head Start centers, or child care centers and confer with administration should problems arise.
- Provide accurate and ongoing support to CLASS observers for planning and executing CLASS observations.
- Review the quality and accuracy of observational data entered into the LDOE’s Early Childhood Observation System (ECOS) and cross-check with observation booklets, as needed.
- Attend LDOE/Picard Center staff meetings with support documentation.
- Plan and present at the annual orientation.
- Participate in one CLASS observation training (infant-toddler or PreK-3rd) and pass the reliability test.
- Recruit observers for observations by reviewing qualifications, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide support to the Project Director and Early Childhood team by participating in cross-training.
- Assist with boxing and storing completed observation booklets (must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.).
SALARY: $40,000-$45,000

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Skills, Abilities, Etc:
- Exceptional professional communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Coordinating and executing the daily activities of a large-scale project
- Skilled proofreader
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- CLASS certification preferred
