Join the JDH Infrastructure Group Team
JDH Infrastructure Group is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our growing civil construction operations. This position is responsible for operating a tri-axle dump truck to transport aggregate materials, dirt, stone, asphalt, and other construction-related materials to and from jobsites.
In addition to dump truck operations, the ideal candidate will have experience or the ability to safely transport construction equipment, including excavators, skid steers, rollers, and loaders. This is a primarily local position that allows drivers to be home daily while working as an important member of a construction team.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck in support of civil construction projects.
- Transport dirt, stone, aggregate, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Haul construction equipment using trailers as needed.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Maintain proper load securement and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Operate safely in active construction environments around crews and heavy equipment.
- Assist with loading, unloading, site cleanup, and general construction activities.
- Perform manual labor and support field crews as project needs require.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck, trailer, and work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, project managers, and dispatch personnel.
- Follow all company safety standards, OSHA requirements, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Acceptable driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Experience operating tri-axle dump trucks or similar heavy trucks.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, and load securement requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Willingness to assist with manual labor and construction-related tasks when needed.
Preferred
- Experience hauling heavy construction equipment.
- Previous experience in civil construction, site development, utility construction, or roadway projects.
- Familiarity with operating around excavation, grading, paving, and utility crews.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily local work with home-daily opportunities.
- Work performed on active construction sites, roadways, material yards, and supplier facilities.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on project schedules and weather conditions.
- Fast-paced environment supporting multiple construction projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials and tools.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely in varying weather and jobsite conditions.
