Midland Courier is currently seeking a Class 5 P&D Courier Driver based in Sydney, NS Terminal. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, great and positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.
Main Role:
The successful candidate will handle the loading and unloading of shipments, verify delivery accuracy, and ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company procedures. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in a safe and clean operating condition and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (0630 – 1630)

• Accurately process daily pickup and delivery records
• Safely load and unload the Cube Van to prevent package damage
• Maintain company equipment in accordance with operational standards
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service
• Operate vehicles and equipment (e.g., hand cart) while following safety protocols and traffic laws
• Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and procedural guidelines
• Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages
• Education Required: High School or GED
• Class 5 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years’ safe commercial driving experience required
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift to 75 lbs. using the proper equipment
• Excellent work ethic and reliability
• Safety conscious
