Our Maintenance team is customer focused, supporting the business 24/7 by ensuring that Loewen buildings, equipment, and tools are operating at their optimal performance. We work in a fast-paced environment, making teamwork essential to successful completion of our task and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Class 4 or 5 Manitoba licensed Power Engineer to join the Maintenance department on a rotating shift at our Steinbach, MB manufacturing facility

• In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Maintain operation of the building systems including; security and fire protection systems, gas and wood burning boilers, heat exchangers, humidification systems, water treatment systems (including R.O.D.I. and water softeners), H.V.A.C. (heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems)
  • Maintain all chemical and boiler records
  • Maintain a strong understanding and working knowledge of all controls and building system equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by managers and maintenance leaders
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties

• You will bring:

  • Valid Manitoba 4 or 5 class ticket.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated stress management skills
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and with minimal
    supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • First Aid Level 2
