At Hall's, we are looking for a reliable and flexible Class 4 Driver to join our Tauranga based team on a casual basis. As a casual driver you will play a key part of the team making sure that our customers have continuity of service over staff leave and our busiest time of the year.
Please be mindful that this role is the definition of a true casual. i.e It maybe 1x days work in a month, maybe 1x week in a month, might be nightshift cover or dayshift cover, maybe a urgent call with work in an hour's time. This would not work with everyone's structure and may suit someone currently working part-time, seasonal, or has flexibility with their home life or own business.
In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses in Tauranga, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks. This role could be asked to cover a metro run so there will be a fair amount of physical work.
You'll need a full and clean Class 4 license, solid driving experience and a commitment to working safely. We are after someone who is self-motivated with a positive attitude and have the level of physical fitness required for this kind of role.
