Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand scaling from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We’re on the lookout for a motivated Class 2 Driver in our Christchurch branch to assist with our Metro deliveries using tail lifts and pallet jacks.

Shift: Monday – Friday, Aprox 6am start, 45 hours per week.

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. In addition, you will assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. To be successful in this role you will be safety obsessed, a team player and customer focused.

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight safely
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full
• Ensure freight is handled and scanned with minimum damage
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

• Clean Full NZ Class 2 licence – must have
• DG license & OSH Forklift certifications – must have
• Truck/Trailer driving experience
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads
• Customer-focussed attitude
• Communication and teamwork skills
