Job Description

Bio Capital is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 2 Driver to join our transport team. The role involves collecting food waste bins from customer sites using RCV and Hookloader vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transport operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Working Hours: 48 Hours per week, Monday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of Health, Safety and Environmental practice with a duty of care to yourself and others.
  • Safely collect food waste bins from customer sites using RCV and Hookloader vehicles.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks, logbooks, and basic maintenance (e.g. oil, tyres, brakes).
  • Ensure goods are transported securely and vehicles are cleaned and refuelled daily.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain compliance with working time regulations.
  • Uphold health and safety standards and company procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Class 2 driving; RCV and Hookloader experience is a bonus (training provided).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Honest, flexible, and reliable with a can-do attitude.
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to Bio Capital values and high standards of service.

Essential Requirements:

  • Class C Licence
  • Driver CPC
  • Driver Card
  • Willingness to work overtime Mon-Sun as required
